Analysis of students’ errors in telling the English time expressions

EFL Students commonly make errors in expressing English Telling Time. This current study revealed frequent error phenomena of beginner learners Indonesia: telling time English. the types made by students grade 7 related to time. In addition, it also factors that caused error. The approach this is descriptive qualitative. data research are phrases/clauses/sentences containing 'telling time' erroneous constructions collected through a test. results show respondents still needed help Two problems arose were writing and word order. first problem due respondents’ limited knowledge target language, while second was interference language (Indonesian). confirms very likely occur, especially when there differences between source system language.
